Who we are
Thurrock Play Network (TPN) is a small non-profit charity that provides advice, support and resources for play and recreation in the community. We give advice and support to individuals, voluntary groups and organisations.
The funding we receive enables us to provide activities and events, while providing access to a wide range of low cost resources for play and recreation via The Pyramid Resource Centre.

Membership is open to absolutely everyone! We have an amazing array of scrap resources available.
Get Involved
There are lots of things you could get involved in, from working in the centre and sorting donated materials to researching supplies, making collections or even using your skills to help run a workshop!
Handicraft Shop
We have a wide range of craft items which are available to all Our products are competitively priced and all profits from the sale of these items are put back into the running of the scrap store so come and take a look, new stock is added all the time!
Equipment Hire
We have a large selection of toys, games and sports equipment available at low cost for our members to hire
First visit today and absolutely loved it! What an absolute gem of a place! Staff were lovely and friendly and there were lots of treasures to find! Myself and my 3 year old loved it!

What’s not to like really, you are essentially giving vital help back into the community, the best recycling I have come across in and around Thurrock, as far as I know, and the staff are out of this world awesome , they also put on the most awesome events that seriously family friendly, what’s not to love about them, if I could , I would fund them until the day I leave this life .
I love this place! We are so lucky to have it on our doorstep. My family and I visited yesterday and were really impressed with the renovations, it has make the place feel so much lighter and warmer. It us great value and there are so many different things on offer. A hidden gem!
Excellent staff will always help you to find what you need for art and craft projects. Great resource for Toddler Groups, Playschools and any other child focused activity.

Our Events
We regularly hold free / low cost open access events for the community such as arts and craft activities, sports events and attend local community events to encourage play and promote what Thurrock Play Network is all about!
